In line with normal employment practice, the Remuneration Authority keeps the details of its remuneration considerations confidential.
The Authority is subject to the Official Information Act 1982, but this is in the context section 9 of the Remuneration Authority Act which requires Authority members and staff to maintain the secrecy of all matters that come to their knowledge in the course of their duties.
